Our philosophy

Four convictions that shape every school day

We believe a good school depends as much on the rigour of its teaching as on the confidence it gives children.

Academic excellence

A demanding curriculum, regular assessment and individual follow-up so that every pupil progresses to the best of their ability.

Personal growth

A caring atmosphere in which children learn to know themselves, to handle their feelings and to grow in confidence.

Creativity

Art, music and drama are not add-ons: they are a full part of the school week.

Citizenship

Respect, responsibility and helping one another: values worked on day by day, not just written down somewhere.

Our levels

One continuous path, from age 3 to the start of secondary school

Staying in the same school from preschool to middle school means a team that follows your child over the years — and transitions without a break.

Why Melrose

A school on a human scale, in the heart of El Jadida

Large institutions sometimes lose sight of the children. We have made the opposite choice: class sizes deliberately kept small, teachers who are available, and a constant conversation with families.

  • Follow-up that is genuinely individual. Every teacher knows the strengths and the weak spots of their pupils, and tells parents before it turns into a problem.
  • Three languages from an early age. Arabic and French give school life its structure; English is added step by step.
  • The arts on the timetable, not as an optional extra. Drawing, painting, music and drama run right through the year — our walls are the proof.
  • Continuity from preschool to middle school. No need to change school at every stage.
